    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><img src=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/cccustom/Client/Recruitment/wayne_sanderson_r_medium_8c46ce69-03ee-4f7a-8c99-599d6c8004c8.png\" style=\"width: 300px;\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib\"></p><p>PRIMARY FUNCTION:</p><p>Primarily responsible for supervising catch operations, and scheduling drivers and loads to meet production schedules. &nbsp;Also responsible for managing truck shop operations.&nbsp;</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:</p><ul><li>Act as liaison between Wayne Farms and contracted catching crew laborers.</li><li>Assist with preparation of daily catch and plant receiving schedules.</li><li>Coordinate and communicate schedules to drivers and contractors.</li><li>Project weight of product on farms.</li><li>Supervise truck drivers, weigh masters and truck shop personnel.</li><li>Compile, balance and submit daily and weekly reports to accounting.</li><li>Communicate feed withdrawal and catch times to producers and crew catchers.</li><li>Supervise and monitor time and attendance of personnel.</li><li>Maintain fuel inventory and holding shed maintenance.</li><li>Ensure adherence to safety program, as well as DOT and D7I compliance.</li><li>Build and maintain effective relationships with employees and customers.</li><li>Supervise and participate in employee development and administer disciplinary action.</li><li>Oversee and monitor sanitation and disinfection of breeder houses.</li><li>Ensure all USDA and animal welfare guidelines are enforced and adhered to.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ul><li>Direct supervision of 6 &ndash; 10 hourly contracted employees.</li><li>This is a Leader of People position with required competencies: &nbsp;Strategic Agility, Business Acumen, Building Effective Teams, Customer Focus and Command Skills.</li></ul><p>MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent AND minimum 2 years&rsquo; live poultry experience within a similar environment OR Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Poultry Science, Agricultural Science or related field from an accredited institution.</li></ul><p>PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Poultry Science, Agricultural Science or related field from an accredited institution.</li><li>Poultry or veterinary assistant experience.</li><li>CDL license&nbsp;</li></ul><p>REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:</p><ul><li>Solid foundational poultry science knowledge.</li><li>Highly effective interpersonal communication skills.</li><li>High work capacity, dependable, results oriented and strong sense of urgency.</li><li>Strong leadership skills.</li><li>Demonstrated general knowledge of math functions and skills.</li><li>Solid organizational skills, with attention to detail.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.</li><li>Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>REQUIRED PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and prioritize work accordingly.</li><li>Ability to understand and interpret data while drawing logical conclusions based on available inputs.</li><li>Critical thinking skills in standardized situations as well as non-routine problems.</li><li>Basic reasoning skills and carries out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form.</li></ul></div></div>\n",
