    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>Tyto Athene is searching for a <strong>Senior Systems Engineer </strong>to support an extensive modernization program critical to the customer's mission success. The Senior Systems Administrator will support a mission-critical enterprise environment, ensuring high availability, security compliance, and operational continuity across all applicable infrastructure and operational environments.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with defined system architecture(s)</li>\n <li>Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components</li>\n <li>Install and configure systems (Linux preferred)</li>\n <li>Manage system updates, patches, and upgrades</li>\n <li>Configure and maintain servers</li>\n <li>Automate tasks using scripting</li>\n <li>Maintain and create custom scripts in support of customer requirements</li>\n <li>Monitor system performance</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot system issues and ensure uptime</li>\n <li>Support the accreditation/compliance with DISA STIG baselines</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.</li>\n <li>Hands-on Linux administration experience (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)</li>\n <li>Experience implementing secure access, managing users, groups, permissions</li>\n <li>Strong scripting, automation, and troubleshooting experience</li>\n <li>Experience provisioning instances in the cloud (AWS preferred)</li>\n <li>Significant DevOps experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Clearance/Certifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>TS/SCI – Full Scope poly</li>\n <li>Security+CE </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Location</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>On-site - Ft.
