The Web Developer works closely with project teams, including system architects, security professionals, and stakeholders, to ensure all solutions meet agency standards for accessibility, compliance, and information security.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position aligns with Cayuse’s core values of Innovation, Excellence, Collaboration, Adaptability, and Integrity by fostering technical solutions that meet customer needs, promoting teamwork, and prioritizing quality in deliverables.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and responsive web applications and websites in accordance with federal and agency requirements.</li>\n <li>Maintain and update existing web properties to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security, implement enhancements as required.</li>\n <li>Apply secure coding practices and comply with cybersecurity standards, including vulnerability identification and remediation.</li>\n <li>Ensure web applications and websites meet Section 508 and other accessibility compliance requirements through ongoing review and testing.</li>\n <li>Integrate web applications with enterprise systems, including databases, APIs, and other agency platforms, to ensure interoperability.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including diagnosing bugs, optimizing performance, and addressing user feedback in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application architecture, design decisions, codebase, deployment procedures, and user guidance.</li>\n <li>Collaborate effectively with project managers, UI/UX designers, security engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet agency goals.</li>\n <li>Remain current with evolving web technologies, security practices, and federal regulatory changes, recommending improvements when beneficial.</li>\n <li>Support all phases of web application testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance tests, and participate in independent verification and validation.</li>\n <li>Provide technical guidance and advice to project teams and agency clients regarding web development best practices, security compliance, and technical risks.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications – Here’s What You Need</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The qualifications and skills listed below are intended to provide a general overview of the requirements for this position. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities as outlined by the client.</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Web Developer Senior:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bachelor’s degree in web development, computer science, or software engineering.</li>\n   <li>Security+ (CompTIA).</li>\n   <li>5-8 years’ web development experience.
