Learn more at www.landmarkmedical.org.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Material Management/Buyer is responsible for the procurement of material and services as assigned by the Director/Manager of Material Management.� Must understand inventory control in order to minimize stock and non-stock orders.� Must be able to communicate with department managers regarding discrepancies, pricing, substitutes and backorders.� Must be able to prioritize duties for optimum productivity.� Able to process and organize purchase orders and receiving documents for Accounts Payable</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education and Work Experience</p>\n<li>High School Graduate or Equivalent.</li>\n<li>AA Degree preferred.</li>\n<li>Previous recent hospital experience as a buyer preferred.</li>\n<li>Knowledge involving the acquisition of equipment, supplies and policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Ability to utilize Material Management Information system (MMIS) and EDI.</li>\n<li>Strong communication skills.</li>\n<p>#L1-DF3</p>\n<h2>Employment Status</h2>Full Time\n<h2>Shift</h2>Days\n<h2>Equal Employment Opportunity</h2>\n<p>Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
