    "description": "<p>Hunt Electric of Colorado is seeking a qualified candidate to fill our<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical Project Manager </span>in our Electrical department.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical Project Manager</span>'s duties will include overseeing the project from bidding the job through the final construction activities. The position requires a high level of customer service internal and external to build and maintain relationships. Knowledge of electrical construction is required.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bid, takeoff and prepare cost estimates.</li>\n<li>Prepare preconstruction budgets and scheduling.</li>\n<li>Process contract drawings and specifications and oversee the project is in accordance with these Documents and per the contract.</li>\n<li>Process shop drawings, submittals, RFI’s, etc. as necessary.</li>\n<li>Process and manage change requests and change orders.</li>\n<li>Prepare schedule of values and billings.</li>\n<li>Monitor project materials, equipment and labor costs, and ensure accurate quality reporting is being performed.</li>\n<li>Read, interpret, analyze and forecast a project’s cost and associated report and determine the status of the job in terms of schedule and cost.</li>\n<li>Be aware of unit costs and monitor and compare daily progress on site with that of the project’s</li>\n<li>Ability to learn estimation on large scale electrical projects.</li>\n<li>Participate in and conduct project meetings as needed.</li>\n<li>Coordinate, manage, and communicate with vendors and effectively deal with problems such as submittals, delivery, labor, schedule and payment disputes.</li>\n<li>Maintain a good working knowledge of other trades, responsibilities and integration with the electrical work.</li>\n<li>Review the project cash flow position and review project manager reports accurately and timely with the Management representative(s).</li>\n<li>Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.</li>\n<li>Actively contributes to a positive team environment.</li>\n<li><span>Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance </span><span>to scheduled work hours.</span><br></li>\n<li>Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five plus years of experience with electrical project installation and two years’ experience/knowledge of electrical construction, design, finance, and management required.</li>\n<li>Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.</li>\n<li>Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities.</li>\n<li>Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence etc.) skills are essential.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in the company’s computer system, department software, and typing necessary.</li>\n<li>Licensed electrician or electrical construction background.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As a full-time<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span> </span>Electrical Project Manager</span>, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO). </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Hunt Electric</span></p>\n<p>Hunt Electric, Inc. is a full-service electrical, technology, and infrastructure contractor with wide-reaching services available in a variety of markets.
