Through its 2 companies, Roto Frank of America, Inc. and Roto Fasco Canada, Inc., Roto North America has been manufacturing and offering a variety of leading North American and European window and door hardware products in the USA and Canada. &nbsp;To learn more about Roto Frank of America please visit us at: <a href=\"https://rotonorthamerica.com/\" target=\"_blank\">Welcome - Roto North America</a></p><p><strong>Summary:</strong></p><p>The Machine Operator will be responsible for the advanced tasks of a Machine Operator, to include daily production and quality control of parts manufactured on the laser, injection molding, machine programming, and operation of a component stamping press.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><p>Accountable for production with machine operation and programming, to include injection moulding, laser, and component stamping press.</p><p>Tasks:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Able to set up and program injection molding machines. This includes insertion of molds and programming in all run criteria and adjusting as needed.</li><li>Accountable for running daily production and performing hourly quality checks to ensure compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.</li><li>Capable of using basic measuring equipment such as callipers, ensuring compliance.</li><li>Observe all safety requirements.</li><li>Creating nonconforming reports for out of specification product.</li><li>Posting production orders in SAP.</li><li>Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments.</li><li>Able to maintain required efficiency rates.</li><li>Conduct preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, dryers, and chillers.</li><li>Able to train Machine Operator II employees on running equipment.</li><li>Able to drive a forklift.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>General housekeeping of work area.</li><li>Able to set up component stamping/laser/injection moulding machines.</li><li>Self- motivated and proactive, able to work responsibly with or without supervision.</li><li>Employee must show up to work on time and be able to work overtime as needed.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.<em>&nbsp;</em></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Required Education:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Work Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>2 Years of related Injection Molding experience</li></ul><p><strong>Work environment and Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Working conditions are based in a manufacturing setting.</li><li>To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time.</li><li>Must be able to traverse production facility and climb ladders.</li><li>Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 pounds at a time.</li><li>Must have manual dexterity in order to use tools or setup machines as directed.</li><li>Prolonged period working on feet, perform repetitive tasks that entail frequent bending and stooping.</li><li>Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.</li><li>Must wear personal safety equipment, as required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
