    "description": "<p><strong>Camp Season - Summer 2026</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>Job Summary</strong><br />\r\nPlans, coordinates, and directs the Conservatory Creative Arts program, ensuring program quality and the safety of youth at all times. Plans, implements, coordinates, and supervises an assigned group of children and youth participating in a Christian Camp. Provides faith-based guidance and role modeling to campers. Provides guidance and role modeling to youth, ensuring a safe and positive experience for campers. Participates alongside campers during camp worship meetings and times of prayer. Leads devotional activities and faith-based songs with campers and supports the seeker&rsquo;s ministry.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Ministerial Responsibilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Performs ministry functions such as presenting approved devotional material to campers, praying with a camper, or leading in Christian songs, etc.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Participates in regular camp worship meetings and times of prayer. Leads devotional activities with campers.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Supports the seeker&rsquo;s ministry and prays with campers as needed; accompanies campers who come to the altar during the closing worship meeting at the end of the camp session.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Demonstrates Christ-like care and will be responsible for praying with campers, encouraging them spiritually, and guiding them in their Christian walk.</li>\r\n\t<li>While on duty, staff members conducting these ministerial responsibilities must ensure that their words, actions, and behavior align with the doctrines and theology of The Salvation Army.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Creative Arts Responsibilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Guides the work of dance and performance in helping children and youth to succeed in school by increasing their involvement and motivation, and helping them to set personal goals. &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Provides training and development of campers for dance, public speaking, performance, and service learning.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Provides appropriate lessons for instruction time. &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Reviews assigned homework with students and reteaches skills if necessary. &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Prepares students for recitals and presentations. &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Supervises the maintenance and daily operations of the program equipment. &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Recommends and develops activities that will develop creative abilities, motor, and learning skills of students. &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Keeps personal living quarters neat, clean, and ready for inspection. &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Be available to participate and assist with camp programs and activities as directed by the Camp Director.</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Ability to meet attendance requirements. &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.</li>\r\n\t<li>Some physical requirements of the Camp Creative Arts Instructor position include endurance, such as climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are required to manipulate equipment and perform various activities. &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Requires a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.&nbsp;</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available.</li>\r\n\t<li>Operate in daily exposure to the sun, heat, and varying environmental conditions.&nbsp;</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
