    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>Medical Technology Associates is seeking a skilled and dependable Hot/Cold Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of temperature-controlled equipment and environmental systems. This role supports laboratories, medical facilities, research institutions, and industrial clients by ensuring reliable heating and cooling performance across critical applications.</p><p>The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of refrigeration, and experience working with regulated or controlled environments.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Install, service, and repair:<ul type=\"disc\"><li>Laboratory refrigerators and freezers</li><li>Ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezers</li><li>Environmental chambers</li><li>Incubators and warming cabinets</li><li>HVAC-integrated specialty cooling/heating systems</li></ul></li><li>Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and system calibrations</li><li>Ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications and compliance standards</li><li>Document service reports and maintain accurate records</li><li>Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers</li><li>Follow safety protocols and industry regulations</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation (if required)</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>3+ years&rsquo; experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or temperature-controlled systems</li><li>EPA 608 Certification (Universal preferred)</li><li>Strong understanding of:<ul type=\"disc\"><li>Refrigeration cycles</li><li>Electrical controls</li><li>Compressors and heat exchangers</li></ul></li><li>Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical schematics</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience with laboratory or medical-grade equipment</li><li>Knowledge of GMP or regulated environments</li><li>Basic networking knowledge for smart/connected systems</li><li>OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification</li></ul><p><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Strong troubleshooting ability</li><li>Mechanical and electrical aptitude</li><li>Detail-oriented documentation</li><li>Professional customer service skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage territory assignments</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs</li><li>Frequent bending, kneeling, and ladder use</li><li>Work in controlled lab, industrial, and field environments</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Competitive salary (based on experience)</li><li>Company vehicle (if applicable)</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>Paid time off and holidays</li><li>Ongoing technical training and certification support</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div>\n",
