Deals the following games: Blackjack (single deck, double deck, and six deck, Spanish 21), Pai Gow Variants, 6 Card Fortune Pai Gow, 3 Card Poker, 4 Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, DJ Wild & 3 Card Blitz. Other games may be required in the future. All game types have various side bets & rules that are subject to change. Poker certified Dealers will deal Poker as assigned.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.</li>\n <li>Responsible for dealing the game of Blackjack and other Core games, in accordance with gaming policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates attentiveness while dealing the game with cards, placement of cards on layout and dealing with guests to ensure protection of the game and the company’s assets; including but not limited to, keeping the tray secure, keeping the cards secure, and maintaining excellent guest relations.</li>\n <li>Exchange paper currency for chips, pay winnings or collect losing bets as established by the rules and procedures of a specific game.</li>\n <li>Check to ensure that all players have placed bets before play begins.</li>\n <li>Stand behind a gaming table and deal the appropriate number of cards to each player.</li>\n <li>Inspect cards and equipment to be used in games to ensure that they are in good condition.</li>\n <li>Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.</li>\n <li>Arrives at designated work station and/or relieves other dealers on time.</li>\n <li>Greets all guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.</li>\n <li>Encourages eye contact on dead games with guests to encourage play.</li>\n <li>Projects positive body language on live and dead tables.</li>\n <li>Ability to learn any additional games that JRCR offers to their guests.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Dealers that have been certified by management to do so, will be scheduled to work in the Poker Room performing the following duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Deals Texas Hold-em, Omaha, and Poker Tournaments offered in the Poker Room.</li>\n <li>Conduct the games in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying Poker Lead of any irregularities.</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining the speed and accuracy of the game, keeping the game going and monitoring payment and collection of bets and rake percentage. </li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining the table and keeping the tray and cards secure.</li>\n <li>Accepts bets and retrieves or conducts payouts based on winning card distribution.  </li>\n <li>Greets new customers and assists in seating and transferring customers.</li>\n <li>Expedites new customer chip buys and assists with table fills.</li>\n <li>Responsible for proper rake collection.</li>\n <li>Ensures that players follow proper betting procedures.</li>\n <li>Responsible to count and verify impressed bank.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Poker Atlas.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Formal training and/or prior experience in Blackjack is a requirement of employment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Pay range: $16.90 - $20.80 per hour</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>*Shift Differential: </strong>Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is not a smoke free workplace.
