A successful Maintenance Technician will provide excellent customer service to our residents, take pride in the property, and understand that this role is critical to the reputation of the property. &nbsp;This is a temporary position, ending on <strong>August 31, 2026.</strong> &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Properties:</strong> RentMSU Houses offer various housing locations and amenities throughout the area. Consisting of 61 units and 349 beds, our properties are great options for Minnesota State University, Mankato students.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>This is a temporary full-time position working a standard schedule, Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Nights or weekends may be required from time to time dependent on business needs.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>The compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00. This range is determined by current market data based on the position requirements and complexities. Final offers of employment will be based on multiple factors including candidate education, skills, experience, and location.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities &amp; Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor residential sites, building locations, clubhouse, amenities, and other common areas for superior curb appeal, general cleanliness, and organization.</li><li>Review, assign and follow-up on open work orders to ensure the work order is completed and accepted within company guidelines.</li><li>Demonstrate excellent customer service during each encounter with residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members.</li><li>Solicit bids, negotiate contracts, and observe work performed by independent contractors to ensure quality product and service.</li><li>Respond to after-hour emergency issues.</li><li>Monitor maintenance trends and develop a preventative maintenance program to help minimize cost to owner.</li><li>Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory of company vehicles, machinery, and tools.</li><li>Assist with annual unit turnover and help execute move-in/move-out procedures.</li></ul>",
