Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Administrative Assistant to join our Human Resources team at our Cummins facility in Indiana, working in an onsite with flexibility work environment based out of our DBU Headquarters in Indianapolis.
This role serves as a trusted partner to the Vice President of Global DEIC, playing a critical part in optimizing priorities, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the overall business cadence. The position provides significant exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional global teams.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Staff Cadence & Executive Engagement Management
Partner with the Chief of Staff to manage staff meeting agendas, materials, and logistics, ensuring disciplined execution, clear outcomes, and follow-through across leadership discussions.
Enterprise Event & High-Visibility Engagement Leadership
Lead planning and execution of global onsite conferences and other high-impact events, coordinating cross-functional contributors to ensure seamless delivery
Executive-Level Preparation & Stakeholder Orchestration
Coordinate preparation for internal and external speaking engagements and key leadership interactions, synthesizing inputs and aligning stakeholders to ensure readiness, clarity, and consistency of messaging.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Strategic Executive Support & Prioritization: Proactively anticipates leadership needs, manages complex calendars, and aligns priorities to support organizational goals with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and action orientation. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Delivers clear, tailored communications across multiple channels and serves as a trusted liaison, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring effective collaboration. Operational Planning & Execution: Coordinates travel, meetings, and executive workflows while maintaining confidentiality, overseeing budgets, and ensuring activities are executed efficiently and within established guidelines. Data Analysis & Business Insight : Compiles, analyzes, and translates qualitative and quantitative data into executive-ready reports, presentations, and visualizations that support informed, data-driven decision-making. Collaboration, Inclusion & Continuous Improvement: Partners across functions to diagnose needs and implement solutions, values diverse perspectives, and fosters accountability.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience. Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted partner to senior leaders, exercising sound judgment in prioritization, ambiguity, and sensitive situations Proven ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and align stakeholders across levels and functions without direct authority. Strong understanding of business context, with the ability to synthesize information into decision-ready insights, identify risks, and highlight implications. Demonstrated ability to use AI and digital tools to enhance workflow efficiency, synthesize information, and improve executive deliverables, with sound judgment in evaluating outputs. Experience supporting or leading large-scale, global or multi-day events involving senior executive audiences preferred. Demonstrated ability to engage with senior executives and external stakeholders with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and composure preferred.
