    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Assembler at Cook Vandergrift is responsible for following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, cleaning, packaging, labeling, equipment operation and safety requirements as documented in the company's quality system.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>• Read, understand and follow specifications for product being manufactured</p>\n<p>• Fabricate raw materials into specified products using various mechanical and/or manual techniques</p>\n<p>• Perform various inspections and/or testing as required</p>\n<p>• Accurate completion of necessary documentation</p>\n<p>• Follow all quality system documents</p>\n<p>• Report to work punctually and as scheduled</p>\n<p>• Perform fine manipulative processes, using a microscope/micro forge, video screen, and/or other equipment for the majority of the day, seated and/or standing at a workstation</p>\n<p>• Perform work in a Controlled Environment with special gowning/clothing and hygiene requirements</p>\n<p>• Perform various computer functions</p>\n<p>• Perform routine maintenance on certain machinery used in production</p>\n<p>• Provide training of production personnel</p>\n<p>• Assist in introducing new or improved products into production</p>\n<p>• Provide input to supervisor/manager to improve department operation and efficiency</p>\n<p>• Identify and report possible preventative and corrective actions</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>• Must have a high school diploma or GED</p>\n<p>• Must pass a post-offer physical exam and drug screening</p>\n<p>• Ability to read, write and understand product documentation and specification drawings</p>\n<p>• Have the written skills to accurately complete paperwork</p>\n<p>• Ability to use measuring devices and gauges</p>\n<p>• Perform basic math skills and applications including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division including the ability to understand decimals</p>\n<p>• Basic computer entry/retrieval skills</p>\n<p>• Must have well-developed eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity skills</p>\n<p>• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Cook does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>• Good manual dexterity</p>\n<p>• Ability to occasionally lift a maximum of 30 pounds</p>\n<p>• Majority of day spent in Controlled Environment with special gowning/clothing and hygiene requirements</p>\n<p>• Required use of safety glasses </p>\n<p>• Limited exposure to hazardous chemicals used in manufacturing of products</p>\n<p> </p>",
