It runs entirely in a customer’s cloud environment with zero data leaving their control, swappable LLMs, patent-pending multi-agent RAG, out-of-box web apps, and support for API integration with 3rd party systems. </p>\n<p><strong>About the Role</strong> </p>\n<p>CVP NextLabs is hiring a Software Engineer to build and scale FiferINSPECT as the next major component of the platform.  FiferINSPECT automates field operations across the country with configurable mobile apps running on wearable devices that connect to our back-end platform. This role will focus on building the tools, libraries, and apps that will make FiferINSPECT successful.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, build, and maintain the FiferINSPECT ecosystem </li>\n <li>Deploy and manage containers on AWS and Azure with a client application on Android smartphones and wearables </li>\n <li>Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Docker/Podman </li>\n <li>Collaborate with federal agency users to translate field processes to smooth workflows </li>\n <li>Participate in and help evolve an AI-first development culture where prompts, agents, and automation replace toil </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience </li>\n <li>Front-end: Android with Java and/or Kotlin </li>\n <li>Back-end: Python, FastAPI for building highly-scalable, containerized applications  </li>\n <li>PostgreSQL including schema design and query optimization </li>\n <li>Daily use of AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Hiring Challenge (Required)</strong> </p>\n<p>We do not hire from resumes alone.
