    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Works under general supervision in preparing and maintaining the sterile operative area of the patient before, during, and after operation.  </li>\n <li>Places equipment and supplies in OR according to surgeon's preference cards.  </li>\n <li>Assists during surgery in a number of ways such as to don gowns and gloves, adjust surgical equipment, hand surgeon instruments, hold retractors and count sponges, needles, and instruments used during the operation.  </li>\n <li>Keep surgeons preference card information current.  </li>\n <li>Able to clean, decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies.  </li>\n <li>Cross trained to function adequately in C.S. and receiving and decontamination.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work requires proficiency in the application of sterile procedures in an operating room setting. </li>\n <li>Requires graduation from a surgical technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation. </li>\n <li>Work requires immediate response to emergency procedures which requires individual to respond within thirty minutes to the Hospital, as well as have a phone.</li>\n <li>Two years experiences is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>We believe that work-life balance is critical to fulfilling our values of excellence and service.
