    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Private Homes Maintenance Technician will perform service, maintenance and repair to properties under rental management contracts with Sunriver Resort.  He/She/They will assist guests and owners with minor repairs and offer temporary solutions until any major repairs can be completed. They will assist in preparing homes and condos for guest arrival by providing property maintenance and hot tub services. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Private Homes Maintenance Technician will always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: <em>Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. </em>He/She/They shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. In this role, they are responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture and actively supporting our Vision and Mission to be the destination of choice for our guests, owners, and associates.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Makes minor electrical repairs and will occasionally replace fixtures</li>\n <li>Will make minor repairs to furniture and other mill work using standard woodworking tools</li>\n <li>Stains and paints woodwork and furniture </li>\n <li>Will perform minor drywall repairs </li>\n <li>Provides painting and staining as needed </li>\n <li>Caulks fixtures as needed</li>\n <li>Will be responsible for spring and fall maintenance such as filter changes, battery replacement, and removal/replacement of exterior patio furniture, vent blocks, and hose bib covers.</li>\n <li>Performs quality control checks on hot tubs within our vacation rental inventory; including but not limited to: chemical checks, adding chemicals, basic maintenance and repairs, occasional drain and fills, cleaning interior and exterior of vessel as well as surrounding area to include snow removal from covers and around hot tub, and replacement of spa filters</li>\n <li>Will report any hot tub issues immediately to manager/supervisor</li>\n <li>Will occasionally pick up and deliver bikes needing repairs to bike shop</li>\n <li>Will occasionally have to move/remove interior furniture </li>\n <li>Will change light bulbs and batteries as necessary</li>\n <li>Will repair or replace garbage disposal units</li>\n <li>Will repair or replace faucet valves and other plumbing equipment</li>\n <li>Unplugs toilets, garbage disposals, and drain lines  </li>\n <li>Makes minor repairs to barbeques and will exchange propane tanks</li>\n <li>Replaces damaged window screens</li>\n <li>Provides inspection and minor repair to appliances and will occasionally remove or install </li>\n <li>Makes minor repairs to shower and closet doors.  </li>\n <li>Changes out TV’s, media players, and other electronics</li>\n <li>Provides minor window blind/shade repairs</li>\n <li>Will repair and install locks, knobs, and hardware</li>\n <li>Repairs general resort equipment</li>\n <li>Will use equipment and cleaning agents to clean walks and other facilities surfaces</li>\n <li>Keeps accurate and legible records of all services and completes all required paperwork</li>\n <li>Communicates to owners, guests, front desk, housekeeping, property management, and outside vendors on procedures, time appraisals, and all pertinent information for repairs needed. Will follow up on repairs as needed.</li>\n <li>Complies with all Sunriver Resort employment policies</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>JOB QUALIFICATION</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1-2 years’ experience performing a variety of maintenance activities</li>\n <li>Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers and painter’s tools.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>Prior hospitality experience preferred</li>\n <li>One year of customer service experience required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>JOB REQUIRMENTS:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have a valid Oregon driver’s license and meet company driving standards</li>\n <li>Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses</li>\n <li>Must have basic math skills </li>\n <li>Must be willing to follow all policies and procedures as set out in the employee handbook.</li>\n <li>Must be professional in appearance and demeanor</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends, holidays, and an “on call” rotation. Schedules can and do change based on business levels.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>WORKING CONDITIONS:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally  </li>\n <li>Must be able to work indoors or outside</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand on feet throughout the day</li>\n <li>Must be able to frequently lift up to 35lbs unassisted and occasionally lift up to 50lbs or more with assistance </li>\n <li>Must be able to climb up and down ladders</li>\n <li>Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work and walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat, cold)</li>\n <li>Must be able to climb stairs, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat, cold)</li>\n</ul>",
