Description

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales team in the Transportation and Warehousing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives. They will also be responsible for managing and mentoring the sales team to ensure they meet their individual and team goals. The Director of Sales will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective sales approach. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field 5+ years of experience in sales management in the Transportation and Warehousing industry Proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills Ability to analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field Experience in managing remote sales teams Experience in developing and implementing sales automation tools Experience in working with CRM software Strong network of contacts in the Transportation and Warehousing industry Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives Manage and mentor the sales team to ensure they meet their individual and team goals Analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective sales approach Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders Skills: The Director of Sales will utilize their excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to manage and mentor the sales team.
