You’ll also resolve scheduling, staffing and quality issues to deliver results on time and within budget. You’ll also:&nbsp;</div><ul><li><!--block-->Design and develop wastewater treatment systems, collection systems, and related infrastructure.</li><li><!--block-->Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports for municipal and industrial wastewater projects.</li><li><!--block-->Perform hydraulic modeling, process design, and system optimization.</li><li><!--block-->Apply expertise in anaerobic digestion of biosolids, including system design, evaluation, and optimization for treatment efficiency and energy recovery.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Support and guide projects involving biosolids management strategies, including anaerobic digestion processes, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices.</li><li><!--block-->Business Development with clients in existing and new markets</li><li><!--block-->Builds and maintains client relationships</li><li><!--block-->Effectively communicates ideas and technical concepts to co-workers and with clients on sensitive and complex matters</li><li><!--block-->Leads projects utilizing staff and sub-consultant resources to successful completion of projects on schedule and on budget</li><li><!--block-->Prepares client contract, statement of qualifications, priced proposals and contracts</li><li><!--block-->Quality control for assigned projects and clients</li><li><!--block-->Works on complex projects</li><li><!--block-->Prepares documents and reports</li><li><!--block-->Performs work that involves non-conventional planning</li></ul><div><!--block--><strong>What it takes<br></strong>Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar degree with appropriate experience. You should have 8 years of experience in engineering with 2+ years of Project Management experience. You should be a licensed Professional Engineer. Ideally, you’ll also:&nbsp;</div><ul><li><!--block-->Navigate Illinois Environmental Protection Agency regulations with ease.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Have proven client relationship management skills.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Be a smart worker and a team player.</li><li><!--block-->Be well-acquainted with wastewater processes, methods, and state and federal requirements, including biosolids treatment and anaerobic digestion systems.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Use engineering software.</li><li><!--block-->Speak and write well.</li><li><!--block-->Have strong analytical and organizational skills.</li></ul><div><!--block--><strong>What you’ll get<br></strong>You’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow professionally at our progressive firm, which started in 1973.
