Maintains department exam quality through regular review of exam quality, competency evaluations of team, feedback and interaction with physicians. Performs competency evaluations of technical personnel. Works effectively with patients and families to provide patient care, maintaining a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members, and complies with infection prevention procedures. The lead technologist also performs the duties of a radiologic technologist and senior radiologic technologist as required and must meet all licensing requirements and demonstrates ongoing proficiency in required skills.</p><p>*<span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;\">Takes vital signs and performs vision, urinalysis, glucose finger sticks as needed. Additional training provided to administer health screens: EKGs, audiometric, Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT), respirator FIT tests, drug screens and breath alcohol testing Perform venipuncture and administer injections (under MD supervision) Provide outstanding customer service by communicating with clients and patients to resolve concerns and requests*</span></span></p><p>Job Responsibilities:</p><p>Provides for patient, family, and staff comfort and care prior to, during, and after a procedure. &nbsp;Recognizes and responds appropriately to emergent situations.<br>Maintains accurate records through the completion of all paperwork. &nbsp;Work is completed before submitting it.<br>Demonstrates ongoing CBE's. Demonstrates knowledge of equipment and its operating procedures through CBE's. Selects proper imaging protocols and follows departmental procedures. Performs competency evaluations of technical personnel.<br>Demonstrates the ability to lead work groups to provide quality service. Organize daily patient and team member schedules for efficient use of resources. &nbsp;Oversees quality of staff technologists.
