We offer <u>competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs</u> to support you and your family.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.</li>\n <li>Performing and managing contaminated site assessments, remedy evaluation, including preparing investigation work plans, feasibility studies, removal action work plans, remedy design, and remedy implementation.</li>\n <li>Performing and managing site assessment fieldwork, pilot and bench-scale programs for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater technologies.</li>\n <li>Preparing remediation action plans for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater remediation projects including drawings, engineering analyses and calculations, and technical specifications.</li>\n <li>Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, and proposals.</li>\n <li>Management and mentoring of junior staff and managing subcontractors.</li>\n <li>Manage work to meet contract schedules, appropriate codes and regulations, regulatory compliance and/or enforcement and industry standard-of-care criteria.</li>\n <li>Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties.</li>\n <li>Consistent with our sell-manage-do business model, play a role supporting lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring.</li>\n <li>Help broaden our reputation via publishing and visibility at prominent industry conferences.</li>\n <li>Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in geology, or environmental, civil, or chemical engineering (required)</li>\n <li>Advanced degree in geology or engineering. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Professional registration or ability to obtain within one year. (i.e., P.G. or P.E.). (preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 5 years (7+ years preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to environmental remediation and vapor intrusion. (required)</li>\n <li>Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)</li>\n <li>Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Texas geology. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Previous project experience in the Oil and Gas sector. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Regular field work and overnight travel. (required) </li>\n <li>Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred) </li>\n <li>Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required. </li>\n <li>Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
