The Lot Porter performs regular maintenance (non-mechanical services), moves vehicles, and performs other duties assigned by the manager, all completed in a safe and timely manner.</p><p>The Lot Porter assists both the Sales and Service Departments in maintaining the new and used car lots, and in transporting vehicles to appropriate departments for service and inventory control.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Ø High school diploma or general education degree (GED)</p><p>Ø One to three years of porter experience <em>(preferred)</em></p><p>Ø Valid Drivers’ License&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>Ø Parks vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction of Sales to ensure that the lot is attractive to potential buyers.</p><p>Ø Assist Sales and Service Staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operations.</p><p>Ø Responsible for adding and maintaining key tags and window stickers on all lot vehicles.</p><p>Ø Drives vehicles to other dealerships for 'dealer swaps' or to other vendors as requested.</p><p>Ø May pick-up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles.</p>",
