    "requisitionDescription": "<p id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN</strong></p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;We are looking for experience maintenance technicians to support our facility in Rockwood, TN. &nbsp;This position will be responsible for the maintenance of equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Functions:</u></strong></p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ability, skills and methods for the proper selection &amp; safe use of basic shop, power, and hand tools. (eg: welders, oxyacetylene outfit, plasma outfit, pipe threader, grinders, drills; saws, wrenches, screwdrivers, chisels, &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; hammers, ladders, etc.)</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility&rsquo;s equipment.</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make the necessary adjustments.</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facility.</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Responsible for installing power supply, conduit and wiring for currently installed equipment and machines including programmable controllers while adhering to blueprints, electrical ethics, utilizing voltage tester and &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;hand tools.</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Welding experience (MIG &amp; ARC)</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must be able to operate ALL equipment in their areas of responsibility and fill in as required.</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>And all electrical / maintenance request as needed.</p><p>&middot;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\" id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.</p><p>&emsp;</p><p><strong>Education &amp; Work Experience</strong></p><p>High school diploma/GED - required. &nbsp;Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent number of years and production maintenance experience. 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical with some PLC experience. Computer skills, concise written and verbal skills are required.</p><p><strong>Physical and Mental Demands</strong></p><p>Incumbent must be physically and mentally able to perform the job demands as listed above. It is an active job and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing.
