This role reads and interprets plans, measures and prepares materials, builds structural and finish components, and supports concrete, framing, and installation activities. A Carpenter upholds O-A-K’s quality and safety standards through precision craftsmanship, attention to detail, and collaboration with field leaders and trade partners.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; DUTIES:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Construction &amp; Installation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform framing, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and concrete formwork.</li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge in door hardware</li>\n<li>Experienced in handling both structural and finish carpentry responsibilities</li>\n<li>Install structural and architectural components, including walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, doors, windows, frames, and molding.</li>\n<li>Cut, shape, assemble, and modify wood, metal, and other materials using appropriate tools and techniques.</li>\n<li>Build and install temporary structures such as bracing, scaffolding, and barriers</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Layout, Measurement &amp; Material Preparation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to understand dimensions and materials.</li>\n<li>Accurately measure, mark, and prepare materials to support proper layout and efficient construction.</li>\n<li>Select appropriate tools, fasteners, and materials for assigned tasks.</li>\n<li>Assist with layout activities to ensure alignment, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality Workmanship &amp; Craft Standards</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete all work in alignment with O-A-K’s quality expectations, ensuring accuracy, level/plumb conditions, and clean finishing.</li>\n<li>Inspect assigned work areas for defects, inconsistencies, or required corrections and communicate issues promptly.</li>\n<li>Support punch list activities, repairs, and field adjustments to maintain high-quality outcomes.</li>\n<li>Document completed work and maintain thorough, organized records as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow all O-A-K safety protocols, including PPE usage, tool safety, and adherence to site rules.</li>\n<li>Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas to support safe operations and reduce risks.</li>\n<li>Identify potential safety concerns or equipment issues and report them immediately.</li>\n<li>Use tools, equipment, and materials responsibly and in accordance with safety guidelines</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Excellence in Communication &amp; Jobsite Practices</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work collaboratively with Project Superintendents, Project Managers, and trade partners to coordinate workflows.</li>\n<li>Communicate progress, material needs, or challenges in a timely and professional manner.</li>\n<li>Support effective coordination across trades to reduce rework, maintain schedule, and ensure smooth operations.</li>\n<li>Interact respectfully with supervisors, peers, and subcontractors to promote a productive jobsite environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SUPERVISION RECEIVED</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Routine Supervision. </span>Work is performed under established procedures and regular oversight.
