    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor, the Machine Operator produces rotational molded parts in accordance with process parameters, changes out molds, and maintains acceptable levels of scrap and productivity; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>3rd Shift Hours (10pm - 6am, Sunday - Thursday)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Benefits of working for Metalcraft: </em></p>\n<ul>\n <li><em>Competitive Pay</em></li>\n <li><em>Paid Holidays & Vacation</em></li>\n <li><em>Air Conditioned Facility</em></li>\n <li><em>$2 Shift Differential for 2nd/3rd Shift </em></li>\n <li><em>Advancement Opportunities </em></li>\n <li><em>Free Health Clinic </em></li>\n <li><em>On-the-job training</em></li>\n <li><em>AND MORE!</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>$1000 Signing Bonus!</strong></em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operates rotational molding machine to meet or exceed plant metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale/Inventory. </li>\n <li>Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.</li>\n <li>Transfer plastic resin into ovens for heating and into molds for forming. </li>\n <li>Work as a team to assemble and dismantle molds.</li>\n <li>Removes molded parts from the molds and monitors part temperature.</li>\n <li>Conduct mold changes using overhead cranes and rigging. </li>\n <li>Uses feedback from Trimmers inspecting product to drive process improvements to reduce scrap and improve productivity.</li>\n <li>Maintains safe and clean operations by adhering to safety procedures and company 6S requirements.</li>\n <li>Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.</li>\n <li>Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to complete dimensional measuring and quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.</li>\n <li> Ability to perform simple math and measurements. </li>\n <li> Ability to maintain a high attention to detail.</li>\n <li> Ability to lift up to and including 50 lbs.</li>\n <li> Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, crouching, or reaching above the shoulders is required.</li>\n <li>Frequent use of hands and wrists on both large and small items: e.g., screws, bolts and nuts to service the molds.</li>\n <li> Ability to understand/apply knowledge of “G” and “M” codes and have applicable computer skills. </li>\n <li> Ability to focus and work at a continuous pace for extended periods of time.</li>\n <li> Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.</li>\n <li> Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments. </li>\n <li> Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently.</li>\n <li> Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education and/or Experience:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous manufacturing experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Equipment Operated</u></strong><u>:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Forklift, measurement devices, wrenches, screwdrivers and various other hand tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Expectations</h2>\n<p><strong>Physical Activity: </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Activity</strong></p>\n<p><strong>N/A</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Occasionally</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Frequently</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Regularly</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Average lbs.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Lift/Carry</strong></p>   X\n<p><strong>25</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Push/Pull</strong></p>   X\n<p><strong>25</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Reach Overhead</strong></p>   X\n<p><strong>Comments:  </strong><strong>     </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Climb</strong></p>   X\n<p><strong>Squat/Bend/Kneel</strong></p>   X\n<p><strong>Sit</strong></p> X  \n<p><strong>Stand</strong></p>  X \n<p><strong>Walk/Move About</strong></p>   X\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Metalcraft of Mayville is an Equal Opportunity Employer:Minorities, Women, Veterans, Disabilities</p>\n<p>PM17</p>",
