    "description": "<p>We are considering a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CMM Programming Engineer</span> to join our federal team at our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">York, PA </span>location. Our team at the Grantley Plant custom designs, develops, and manufactures critical HVAC and refrigeration equipment for Navy vessels around the world. This position is responsible for providing day-to-day CMM programming support as part of a quality engineering team.  The position will play an integral role in the development, application and coordination of CMM as well as addressing nonconformance’s discovered during those inspections as part of the Johnson Controls Navy Systems (JCNS) quality program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Johnson Controls, we support our nation’s most critical facilities, the people who occupy them, and the missions they enable. Exceptional candidates may be considered for early hiring based on business demand. **</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Bonus: </span>Eligible for bonus program<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Benefits:</span> Eligible for benefits on first day of employment<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Vacation:</span> 3 weeks of paid vacation per calendar year</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CMM Programming Engineer</span>, you will:<br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide CMM PCDMIS offline and online programming support to individuals performing inspections</li>\n<li>Support training efforts for individuals learning to perform CMM inspections</li>\n<li>Performs first article dimensional reviews for both internal and externally manufactured parts.</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot issues arising from those inspections both in process and equipment</li>\n<li>Provide quality technical support to the Grantley Plant.</li>\n<li>Works with customer service to address product issues, warranty or other problems.</li>\n<li>Participates on teams in quality problem resolution, focusing on continuous improvement activities.</li>\n<li>Facilitates/supports scrap and rework reduction teams.</li>\n<li>Interfaces with key suppliers as required, assuring timely resolution of quality issues.</li>\n<li>Assists in the development and revises procedures to support the Plant Operation quality programs.</li>\n<li>Develops inspection test and inspection plans used for the verification of various products</li>\n<li>Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry codes and standards.</li>\n<li>Supports systems and procedures to clarify engineering and quality work instructions and requirements.</li>\n<li>Performs quality-engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with requirements, including quality manuals and company quality records.</li>\n<li>Participates in the ECN process and product team meetings to resolve quality issues.</li>\n<li>Adheres to the Company's code of Conduct and business Ethics standards. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications:<br><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum an Associate / Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related discipline preferred or equivalent years of industry related experience.</li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency and experience in programming, operating and validating CMMs with PCDMIS, Calypso, Camio or Modus.</li>\n<li>Proficient in personal computer capabilities in MS Office Suite.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated planning, problem solving, data analysis, GD&amp;T, blueprint reading, organizing, inter-personal, and communication skills with proven leadership skills and decision-making abilities.</li>\n<li>US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications:<br><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience supporting a machine shop environment</li>\n<li>Experience with the operation of machine tools, not limited to Lathes, mills, vertical turning centers, 5 axis CNC machines, as well as manual versions of the same.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who We Are</span></p>\n<p>The primary mission of Johnson Controls Navy Systems is to supply Chilled Water Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Systems and associated equipment to the US Navy and US Coast Guard.
