    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>Under the general direction of the Manager, Surveillance, this position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of Surveillance Officers at the site level as well as monitoring interior and exterior areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitors Surveillance Operators; verifies timesheets; provides input for performance evaluations</li>\n <li>Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash/cash equivalent transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access</li>\n <li>Maintains logs; prepares daily reports; stores records securely for evidence purposes</li>\n <li>Monitors, documents and reports on the condition of surveillance facilities and equipment; performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required</li>\n <li>Trains new team members</li>\n <li>Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments</li>\n <li>Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations</li>\n <li>Manages other incentives as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma</li>\n <li>Post secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of surveillance or security experience; minimum 1 year of supervisory experience; gaming experience preferred</li>\n <li>Responsible liquor service and Food Safety Certification</li>\n <li>Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License</li>\n <li>Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment Considerations</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Secure back office environment, sitting for long periods of time, watching footage for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i><strong>Great Canadian Entertainment is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and we welcome all qualified applicants to apply to join our team of unique contributors.
