Valid 1st Aid/CPR.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be willing and able to work flexible working hours (which will include evenings and <br>weekends) as needed to provide ongoing support and services to community members.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to speak an Indigenous Language is considered an asset.<br></span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KNOWLEDGE</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Grade 12 diploma with two (2) years’ experience in an Indigenous community setting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of Indigenous culture, traditions, ceremony, and the ability to connect community. members to safe cultural practices that can be used as support.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of and relationships with other health care/social service agencies, ability to network, create/maintain these relationships.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Awareness of recent, historic and intergeneration trauma and the effects indigenous women and their families experience including the psychological, neurological, <br>physiological, social, and spiritual impact of trauma.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Thorough knowledge and experience working in and with a gender-based lens/perspective.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong understanding of behavioral, emotional, and mental health problems and disorders of Indigenous women and their families (Including children and youth).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">In-depth understanding of psychological, social, and cognitive development.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Understanding the principles of cultural trauma-informed care and wise practices in providing trauma-informed care.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of and the ability to navigate health services and social services across Ontario.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of Not-For Profit Organizations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proficient working knowledge of MS Office Software, internet, and general office equipment.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Please know, this is an existing role we are looking to fill.</span><br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The full salary range for this role is<span> </span></span><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">$43,700 - $53,497.60.</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> ONWA conducts annual performance reviews, and employees may be eligible for salary adjustments based on performance outcomes and available funding.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 153); font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">We welcome applications from people with disabilities.
