Description
POSITION : Adjunct Faculty - Graduate Counseling Program
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate degree in Counseling, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program. LPC in Virginia preferred. LPC in Virginia required for clinical mental health practicum and clinical mental health internship courses.
RESPONSIBILITIES : To serve as an adjunct faculty member for the graduate counseling program, teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester. Potential courses include the following:
Graduate Counseling Courses: COUN 697: Addictions Counseling - Spring 2026 COUN 637: Career Development - Spring 2026 Two sections of COUN 528: Clinical Mental Health Practicum - Spring 2026 COUN 690: Internship 2 - Spring 2026 COUN 699: Topics: Sexual Health - Spring 2026 POSITION DETAILS : Faculty are contracted per course. Salary determined by education.
APPOINTMENT DATE : Spring semester, January - May 2026. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
