This role bridges the gap between <strong>installation teams and engineering</strong>, ensuring all cabling, rack, and pathway changes are captured and ready for as-built documentation.</p><p>The ideal candidate has strong experience in <strong>structured cabling, fiber tracing, and rack/patch panel environments</strong>, along with the ability to interpret and update technical drawings.</p><hr><h2>🔧 Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Perform <strong>redlining of data center drawings</strong> including:<ul><li>Rack elevations</li><li>Floor layouts</li><li>Cable pathways (ladder rack, tray, conduit)</li></ul></li><li>Trace and document <strong>A-to-B cable connectivity</strong> (fiber and copper)</li><li>Update:<ul><li>Patch panel port assignments</li><li>Switch connections</li><li>Rack/unit (U) positions</li></ul></li><li>Identify and correct:<ul><li>Labeling discrepancies</li><li>Missing or undocumented cabling</li></ul></li><li>Mark adds, moves, and changes (MAC work) clearly on drawings</li><li>Work closely with:<ul><li>Field technicians</li><li>Project managers</li><li>Engineering/CAD teams</li></ul></li><li>Capture field data using:<ul><li>Markup tools (e.g., Bluebeam Revu)</li><li>Spreadsheets and cable schedules</li></ul></li><li>Provide clean, organized redlines for <strong>as-built conversion</strong></li></ul>",
