Roles on projects will vary from individual contributor to project lead. Role manages an overall budget of up to $40 million annually. Understands and applies Return on Investment principles to make sound financial decisions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\">Ensures projects comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and Hormel standards.</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\">Applies good engineering and technical best practices to ensure personnel and food safety.</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\">Applies the continuous improvement process philosophy in all daily activities.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\">Utilizes engineering training and experience to support innovation and the development of new technology.</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\"><p>Requires occasional travel away from the office to support projects or plant support.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><u>Required</u></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"background-color: white;\">Bachelor’s degree in engineering / degree in technical field or&nbsp;minimum of five-years industrial electrical installation and maintenance experience.</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\">Five years of pertinent experience in electrical field, a technical certification or licensure in electrical field and management / leadership development training with demonstrated application of skills.</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\">A strong pattern of initiative, innovation, and creativity.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\">Highly developed leadership skills.</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\">Demonstrated problem-solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\">Excellent organization and project management skills.</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\">Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.</li><li style=\"background-color: white;\">A solid understanding and knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
