This includes welding equipment, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery. <strong>Maintenance Technicians&nbsp;</strong>are also responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure it is running efficiently and to prevent breakdowns.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><strong><u>Principle Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</u></strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Perform regular maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Perform preventative maintenance on equipment</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Communicate with other departments to ensure equipment is running efficiently</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Ensure compliance with all safety regulations</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Continuously improve maintenance processes</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities:</u></strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">High school diploma or GED</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Preferred 3+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and machinery</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Experience with welding equipment, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Strong Electrical knowledge</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Familiarity with safety regulations</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Ability to read and understand technical manuals</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><strong><u>Working Conditions:</u></strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Noise and dirt level is typical to that of a manufacturing environment</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 75lbs, and stand for long periods of time</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Must be&nbsp;able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Must be able to work in conditions with regular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, heights, moving equipment, heavy steel, and other possible hazardous conditions</li><li style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Safety Glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots are required; a respirator is required for specific operations</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><strong>Safety is our priority! &nbsp;We have a very extensive training program to ensure the safety of all of our employees.</strong></span></p><p><em><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Veritas Steel is an equal opportunity employer.
