a portion of the is taught on campus, once per week, with the remainder of the course being taught asynchronously in the online environment.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach any of the following courses:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>ICD</strong></li><li><strong>Surgical Procedure Coding</strong></li><li><strong>Coding Clinic &ndash; this is a simulation-based course based on real-life, on-the-job scenarios</strong></li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Facilitate organized, engaging classes based on course objectives and course curriculum</li><li>Assess student learning using appropriate methods</li><li>Monitor and evaluate student progress; provide feedback and advising to students regarding progress</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Effectively resolves student concerns or complaints</li><li>Participate in new student orientation, graduation and other campus events, as appropriate</li><li>Participate in professional development activities to maintain currency in the field and with instructional and educational practices and methods</li><li>Other duties as required</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><strong>Graduate of an accredited post-secondary medical billing &amp; coding program, health information technology program, or other appropriately related program</strong></li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><strong>Minimum of three years&rsquo;
