This is a full-time position, with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement within the company.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist in the fabrication of storefront, curtain wall, and doors.&nbsp;</li><li>Cut and fabricate glass and mirrors.</li><li>Clean and prepare shop areas and job sites as needed or instructed.</li><li>Load, offload, and deliver materials to work sites.</li><li>Follow instructions from the Shop Lead and Foreman.</li><li>Assist with brake metal fabrication.</li><li>Identify and report issues with work material.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Commercial Storefront and Glass Cutting experience preferred but not required.</li><li>Comfort using hand and power tools.&nbsp;</li><li>1-2 years of basic construction labor experience</li><li>Valid ID and driver&#39;s license free of major accidents and DUIs&nbsp;</li><li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.</li><li>Must be punctual, dependable, and have a positive attitude.</li><li>Must possess basic work tools and work well with others (specialty tools provided by J&amp;A)</li><li>Quickly trained for forklift license, and boom lift/scissor lift certification.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication sheets.</li><li>Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and travel to work sites out of the area as needed.</li><li>A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.</li><li>Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED or college diploma.</li><li>An excellent job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong>:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Competitive starting wage</li><li>Opportunities for advancement within the company.</li><li>Full-time position</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off after 60 days employment</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>$200 Yearly Boot Reimbursement</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions &amp; Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Typical hours for this position are from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.</li><li>Work is typically scheduled in a climate-controlled shop.&nbsp;</li><li>Overtime as required.</li><li>Must follow Company uniform requirements.</li><li>Must be able to work in all weather conditions.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>About J&amp;A Glass &amp; Mirror Inc.</strong></p><p>At J&amp;A Glass, we pride ourselves on being a leading provider of comprehensive glass and glazing solutions.
