You will be responsible for providing support to the Mill Operations Team and will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Competency in Basic Mill Common Core & Alignment to Mill Classification Guideline (AEM Mill Operations Training Classification Guideline) Maintain records of the receipt and analysis of the samples, standards and reference material; Weigh, measure, record and mix samples; Organize workspace to process samples from the mine following a chain of custody procedure; Crush and pulverize ore samples to the consistency required (-10 mesh). (Standard Operating Procedure); Perform routine inspections on machines and equipment to determine if any maintenance is required; Responsible Quality Assurance (QA); Keep work areas clean to maintain a safe and clean working environment (Housekeeping); Prioritize work and follow Standard Operating Procedures and working safely.
