At MeDirect, we strive to provide an exceptional employment experience, fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role Overview:</span></p>\n<p>As a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)</span>, you will be joining the Corporate IT team forming part of an engineering team responsible of the design, installation and maintenance of Corporate IT infrastructure and services to meet the bank’s high-quality standards.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Actively participate in the design, setup and configuration process for the introduction of new systems and infrastructure related projects</li>\n<li>Maintain and compile procedures and documentation for all systems under the Corporate team responsibility</li>\n<li>Installing and maintaining up to date Operational System software, patch levels, firmware, drivers and related services and in adherence with the patch management lifecycle.</li>\n<li>Configure and customize software in accordance with the requirements</li>\n<li>Providing support to other technical staff in performing account management, disk space management, backups, baseline security administration, testing of system features and other systems administration activities</li>\n<li>Monitoring, analyse and troubleshoot Systems and Services to ensure optimal uptime.</li>\n<li>Producing and maintaining appropriate documentation describing hardware setups, diagrams, operational procedures and overall inventory management.</li>\n<li>Suggesting and promoting System Changes in accordance with company policies and SOPs</li>\n<li>Engaging in capacity planning and monitoring usage reports. Recommends alternatives to infrastructure reconfiguration including replacement or addition of capacity.</li>\n<li>Pro-actively reviewing and monitoring service indicators in order to ensure adherence to agreed upon service levels.</li>\n<li>Interacting with software and hardware maintenance providers in enforcing adequate levels of support.</li>\n<li>Reporting and responding to critical security events and take corrective measures per defined security policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Participate in an 'On Call' roster supporting off hours and weekend activity.</li>\n<li>Keep abreast with latest technological advances</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft Technologies</li>\n<li>Windows Operating Systems</li>\n<li>Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, DFS</li>\n<li>Microsoft Exchange Hybrid and Defender for Office 365 (anti-phishing, anti-spam, Safe Links, Safe Attachments)</li>\n<li>Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive</li>\n<li>Azure and Office 365 (Entra ID, Azure Firewall and Networking, Storage Accounts, SSO for SaaS Apps, Conditional Access, Purview Compliance, Retention Policies, Microsoft Defender Suite, Azure Virtual Desktop)</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of modern management tools; expertise in Intune and Microsoft 365 Defender considered an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Plus Points:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>VMware vCenter, ESXi</li>\n<li>Server backup technologies (e.g., Veeam)</li>\n<li>Networking knowledge (CCNA level or equivalent)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Optional Skills and Knowledge (Not Mandatory but Considered an Advantage):</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with IT ticketing/helpdesk systems</li>\n<li>Experience with web filtering solutions</li>\n<li>Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools</li>\n<li>PowerShell scripting for automation and administration</li>\n<li>Microsoft Teams configuration and administration</li>\n<li>Microsoft Certificate Services (PKI management)</li>\n<li>Ansible automation (playbooks, role-based automation, Azure and hybrid integration)</li>\n<li>Understanding of enterprise-grade hardware platforms</li>\n<li>Experience with enterprise storage solutions</li>\n<li>Knowledge of fibre connectivity and switch configuration<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Educational Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li>\n<li>Relevant Microsoft or VMware certifications preferred.</li>\n<li>Proven experience in a systems administration or infrastructure engineering role.</li>\n</ul>",
