Additionally, support mechanical parts procurement, documenting, and drafting if applicable.</p>\n<div>\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Design &amp; Development:</strong> Assist engineers in designing, building, modifying, and testing prototypes and systems.</li>\n <li><strong>Testing &amp; Data:</strong> Perform experiments, run diagnostics, calibrate equipment, and collect/analyze data for engineering projects.</li>\n <li><strong>Documentation &amp; Reporting:</strong> Create detailed lab reports, technical drawings (CAD), and project documentation.</li>\n <li><strong>Support Design Transfer:</strong> Design verification and validation activities and design transfer related tasks.</li>\n <li><strong>Sustaining Engineering:</strong> Support sustaining activities related to current products lines with testing, ECO creation, redlining, and change order implementation.</li>\n</ul>\n<div>\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<p><strong>Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Attention to detail and understanding of engineering test principles</li>\n <li>Able to meet deadlines and thrive in fast‑paced environment</li>\n <li>Ability to work closely with electrical and optical designers</li>\n <li>Proficiency with engineering software (like CAD) and testing equipment</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 40 lbs</li>\n</ul>\n<div>\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<p><strong>Education Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma Required</li>\n <li>BA in Mechanical Engineering preferred or similarly applicable Technology Studies</li>\n <li>SolidWorks Training – toward certification is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<div>\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<p><strong>Experience Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Six (6) years minimum experience in medical device capital equipment development support in areas of prototyping building, testing and reporting.</li>\n <li>Proven use of measurement and test equipment such as Metrology, Thermocouple, Manometer, Tensile and Compression, Sound Meter, Fluid Flow Meters and Sensors.</li>\n <li>Use of SolidWorks</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable and practiced in activities related to IEC 60601, ISO 13485 standards</li>\n <li>Standard Microsoft Office computer skills including use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.</li>\n <li>Oracle PLM is a plus.
