We promote greater progress in priority areas, across health and well-being, violence and abuse prevention, safety, and social and economic development. Our ability to do so depends heavily on partnership across government, key funders, Inuit community groups and other stakeholder organizations.  </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span></p>\n<p>We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Knowledge Translation Coordinator Co-op student to support the development, dissemination, and evaluation of knowledge translation and mobilization initiatives. This role is ideal for students interested in research communications, public engagement, health or social policy, and translating complex information into accessible content for diverse audiences.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in developing translation materials including reports, briefing notes, infographics, presentations, fact sheets, and digital content</li>\n<li>Support the dissemination of research findings through webinars, newsletters, social media, and stakeholder communications.</li>\n<li>Coordinate meetings, events, and engagement activities with researchers, partners, and community stakeholders</li>\n<li>Conduct literature reviews, environmental scans, and background research</li>\n<li>Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and evaluation metrics</li>\n<li>Support content development for websites, internal platforms, and communication campaigns</li>\n<li>Help ensure material are accessible, audience-focused, and aligned with organizational standards</li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research and knowledge mobilization initiatives</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Health Science, Public Health, Communications, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Knowledge Translation, or a related field</li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities</li>\n<li>Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and accessible language</li>\n<li>Strong research and analytical skills</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or virtual engagement platforms is considered an asset</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience supporting research, communities, or stakeholders’ engagement projects</li>\n<li>Familiarity with knowledge translations, knowledge mobilization, or evidence-informed practices</li>\n<li>Experience creating digital and visual communication materials is considered an asset</li>\n<li>Customize knowledge translation activities to address the unique cultural context of each of the four Inuit regions and urban Inuit</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we Offer</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on experience supporting meaningful research and knowledge translation initiatives</li>\n<li>Mentorship and professional development opportunities</li>\n<li>Exposure to stakeholder engagement and collaborative project work</li>\n<li>Inclusive and supportive team environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">How to Apply</span></p>\n<p>Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your interest in the position to (<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">BambooHR) by June 24, 2026. </span></p>\n<p>We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Equal Opportunity Employer</span></p>\n<p>Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada is an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive and accessible workplace.
