All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>#INDDIR</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure that the food service operates within established budgetary guidelines</li>\n <li>Assign, direct and supervise food service workers ·</li>\n <li>Assist in the hiring, transfer, promotion, demotion, or dismissal of food service workers</li>\n <li>Follow proper receiving, storage, and preparation techniques to insure that all food items are maintained at a high quality until consumed</li>\n <li>Plan, implement, and review all breakfast, lunch and dinner menus</li>\n <li>Prepare all local and State reports as directed or required</li>\n <li>Understand and implement safety procedures as required by the Food and Safety Health department</li>\n <li>Direct the expenditure of the food service budget</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Formal training (college degree preferred) in Culinary Arts or related fields</li>\n <li>Certified as a Dietary Manager or currently enrolled in a recognized certification course with certification being granted within 18 months of hire date</li>\n <li>Must be certified by the Maryland State approved sanitation program</li>\n <li>Must have at least two (2) years of food service management experience in the health care industry</li>\n <li>Previous supervisory skills and proven ability to lead and manage individuals</li>\n <li>Must have excellent communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer </p>\n<p>FutureCare has a longstanding policy of providing a work environment that respects the dignity and worth of each individual and is free from all forms of employment discrimination, including harassment, because of race, color, sex, gender, pregnancy, age, religion, national origin, citizenship, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
