    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Lorain County Community College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach electrical wiring, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or masonry lectures and labs that include the&nbsp;skills, concepts, instruments, tools, and materials used in the specific trade.&nbsp; Students will have hands on training in project based classes in the specific trade.</p>\n<p>All adjunct construction program faculty members must be able to: Maintain lab equipment;&nbsp;Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and interests of students;&nbsp;Administer and grade tests, evaluate students, prepare weekly classes and performance testing based on the specific trade’s curriculum;&nbsp;Demonstrate experience in the specific trade per code requirements;&nbsp;Demonstrate a working knowledge and appreciation of all safety practices related to the specific trade;&nbsp;Demonstrate&nbsp;the use of tools for the specific trade;&nbsp;Read and understand codes and blueprints for the specific trade;&nbsp;Lift 40 lbs and be able to stand on concrete for the duration of the labs;&nbsp;Teach evenings or weekends;&nbsp;Operate a computer to post syllabus, grades, and attendance;&nbsp;Adhere to College policies and procedures;&nbsp;Be responsive to student questions and requests for assistance;&nbsp;Participate in the assessment of student academic achievement;&nbsp;Attend Fall Convocation and/or adjunct faculty development;&nbsp;Support the College’s mission, vision, and values;&nbsp;Fulfil all contracted hours as scheduled</p>",
