In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>University Radiology is seeking a Lead MRI Technologist for our <strong>East Brunswick, NJ Imaging Office.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm with rotating Saturdays  </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*Will be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operates and maintains all MRI related equipment QA/QC documentation for ACR Certification and Inspections.</li>\n <li>Responsible for ACR accreditation, collaborating with MRI Coordinator, URG Physicians and URG Physicist.</li>\n <li>Schedules all MR related equipment service and physics testing as needed.</li>\n <li>Responsible for overseeing patient safety including screening for contraindications. Obtains IV certification for contrast injections.</li>\n <li>Proficient in all software systems including images and report management. </li>\n <li>Assumes leadership role in communicating policies, training and providing feedback to complete employee performance evaluations. </li>\n <li>Manages stock, places orders while knowing the application and location of all supplies in department.</li>\n <li>May be required to assist with lifting patients for proper placement on exam table.</li>\n <li>Collaborates with MRI Coordinators,  schedulers, front desk staff and other URG site managers as needed.</li>\n <li>Maintains adequate staffing. Work schedule may change based on staffing needs and unexpected issues.</li>\n <li>Completes all mandatory URG in-service classes annually and technical competency through continued education/credits.</li>\n <li>Performs additional duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>ARMRIT or ARRT (R)(MR) certification required</li>\n <li> CPR Certification required</li>\n <li>5+ years of current MRI experience on GE equipment preferred</li>\n <li>Prior supervisory experience a plus</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and Customer Service Skills </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>University Radiology offers a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental and life insurance, 401k/pension, and profit-sharing plans, generous paid time off policy and more.</p>\n<h2>Pay Range:</h2>\n<p>From $46/hr</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 – 5 years of experience.
