Ourpassion is building.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Execute and enforce safety standards, processes, and procedures ensuring project site is kept clean and organized. Conduct weekly safety inspections and monthly safety audits. </li>\n <li>Enforce quality standards, processes and procedures; conduct quality control audits.</li>\n <li>Determine, follow and promote construction requirements and procedures identifying opportunities for improvement.</li>\n <li>Assist in managing contractual requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.</li>\n <li>Maintain construction documents, review and coordinate shop drawings and submittals.</li>\n <li>Direct, coordinate and monitor activities of construction site.</li>\n <li>Oversee mitigation of issues/recovery of critical path.</li>\n <li>Conduct project preconstruction/strategy/premortum meeting.</li>\n <li>Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budget requirements. Updating by job and role as needed. </li>\n <li>Anticipate and identify project issues and risks, proactively communicate identified project issues and risks, presenting solutions and conferring with project team for resolution.</li>\n <li>Manage and plan all construction operations and timelines to ensure deadlines will be met, Identify compression opportunities.Maintain complete, thorough daily logs that include production and detailed areas of work.</li>\n <li>Maintain and control project scope and maintain budget by communicating with proper PO’s/SWD’s.</li>\n <li>Identify new construction products/practices and recommend methods, materials and layouts to reduce construction costs based on design needs/capabilities.</li>\n <li>Ensure proper documentation and communication of project status.</li>\n <li>Create and modify project schedule to reflect approved scope changes and to ensure adherence to key dates. Create CPM schedule.</li>\n <li>Direct and monitor compliance with all codes and regulations.</li>\n <li>Prepare and execute the project closeout process, demobilizing all resources and successfully transitioning the project to the client.</li>\n <li>Maintain positive client relationships to leverage future repeat business.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>3-5 years’ experience as lead superintendent running ground-up industrial projects ranging from $50M. </li>\n <li>In-depth construction knowledge and experience in the construction industry.</li>\n <li>Proven experience implementing safety protocolswith a track record of successfully implementing and enforcing safety procedures on construction sites ensuring a secure work environment for project team. </li>\n <li>Ability to understand and solve complex challenges to present alternative solutions.</li>\n <li>Must be a motivated and driven individual with proven history to effectively facilitate the completion of subcontracted work.</li>\n <li>Leadership and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with computer applications including ProCore, P6, and Microsoft Office.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The Superintendent’s work is primarily performed outdoors in various weather conditions with exposure to health or safety hazards, including noise levels may ranging from moderate to loud.</li>\n <li>Physical effort is required, including the handling of objects up to 50 pounds and frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking and/or hearing.</li>\n <li>While performing the essential functions of this position, the individual may use hands to handle, control or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.</li>\n <li>Individual work location will change or vary and/or position may require travel.</li>\n <li>Environment will be demanding and fast paced; number of hours typically worked in a workweek may exceed 40 hours per week.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>At Brinkmann Constructors, our passion for people means investing in their financial, mental, and physical well-being.
