The Program Lead works with academic deans and faculty to ensure student academic successes and retention.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities<em>:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Assist Academic Deans and Program Managers in oversight of faculty/student for approximately 150+ students in assigned programs.</li><li>Maintains one teaching class assignment with flexible scheduling (including nights and weekends) as needed to accommodate students.</li><li>Train, mentor, and monitor faculty</li><li>Conduct faculty meetings for assigned programs</li><li>Answer student inquiries and mentor students for success within the designated program</li><li>Interview teacher candidates</li><li>Coordinate events and build community resources</li><li>Advise students on Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)</li><li>Conduct in-class observations</li><li>Organize field trips</li><li>Actively contribute to program improvement and curriculum development</li><li>Participate in orientation for new students</li><li>Promote best practices among faculty</li><li>Ensure that assignment submission, test taking, and grading are completed correctly and on time</li><li>Other duties and special projects as assigned</li><li>Staying up-to-date on current trends within the industry through professional development, research, and conferences.</li><li>Other duties and projects as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Commitment to academic excellence</li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills</li><li>Strong sense of customer service</li><li>Knowledge of pedagogical methods</li><li>Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)</li><li>Team building skills &amp; leadership aptitude</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of information</li><li>Ability to use the following equipment and software packages with proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use online learning tools</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Education and Experience:&nbsp;</strong>The position requires a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, preferably in education, teaching, curriculum &amp; instruction, educational leadership, or related field.
