We firmly believe that diversity fosters innovation and contributes to the success of Arrow.</strong></em></p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>In Business since 1919 and still growing, Arrow is a leader in bulk commodity hauling, reload operations, freight management, logistics, consulting, and technology with operations throughout Canada and the U.S.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Pipe Layer for project based work in Kamloops and various locations in BC.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Great people work here!</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performing the installation of pipe with the utmost standards in quality while keeping up with production targets</li>\n <li>Manually, or with the use of equipment, placing pipe accurately and according to construction drawings</li>\n <li>Placing manholes and catch basins when necessary</li>\n <li>Properly connecting pipe lengths and seal joints</li>\n <li>Performing daily site assessments, including identification of potential work site hazards</li>\n <li>Manual labour, cleaning and preparing sites</li>\n <li>Raking, shoveling, unloading trucks and maintenance tasks</li>\n <li>Digging trenches and operating hand tools as directed</li>\n <li>Cleaning debris and removing waste materials from sites</li>\n <li>Work in adherence to all safe work practices, procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>You Possess</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of 2 years of pipe laying experience and civil construction required</li>\n <li>Ability to travel as required</li>\n <li>Valid license and reliable vehicle for travel</li>\n <li>HDPE pipe fusing and process water piping experience an asset</li>\n <li>Experience using pipe laser is an asset</li>\n <li>Fall protection certification is an asset</li>\n <li>Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (snow, rain, sub-freezing temps, heat, wind)</li>\n <li>Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment</li>\n <li><strong>The embodiment of Arrow's Core Values: Safety, Quality, Integrity, Responsibility, Teamwork, and Fun! </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>#IND</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2></h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Arrow has been recognized as a Top Fleet Employer of Distinction, a SmartWay Transport Partner, a BCTA Clean Carrier, a BC Hydro Clean Energy Champion and as a Carrier of Excellence in Women's Leadership.</p>",
