    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Overview</span><br></p>\n<p><span>This position </span><span>performs plumbing service and repairs, </span><span>routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response throughout the facility.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Installs various plumbing fixtures and systems according to specifications using appropriate tools and equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Inspects, examines, and tests installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods to ensure safety and sanitation of work areas.</span></li>\n<li><span>Modifies, cleans, and maintains pipe systems, units, fittings, or related machines or equipment using hand or power tools.</span></li>\n<li><span>Repairs valves, fixtures, water, and sewer lines to ensure the proper function of all types of plumbing systems.</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintains or repairs plumbing by replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, or opening clogged drains.</span></li>\n<li><span>Inspects work sites for obstructions or holes that could cause structural weakness.</span></li>\n<li><span>Troubleshoots plumbing problems in water supply, sewer, and pump station systems.</span></li>\n<li><span>Responds to plumbing failures and plumbing emergencies and makes repair.</span></li>\n<li><span>Prepares component lists of necessary parts to complete job assignments.</span></li>\n<li><span>Practices good physical work methods, utilizes good work habits, and meets established production standards.</span></li>\n<li><span>Uses standard methods, practices, supplies, tools, and equipment to complete tasks.</span></li>\n<li><span>Wears proper personal protective equipment (e.g., gloves, googles) and works in a safe work environment at all times.</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintains cleanliness of work area and ensures a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Performs other related duties as assigned or requested when needed.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>One year of varied experience as a journey level plumber.</span></li>\n<li><span>Possesses a valid driver’s license.</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent customer service and ability to work cooperatively with team members and others.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risk that require following basic safety precautions.</span></li>\n<li><span>Expose to dust, dirt, fumes, chemicals, and unpleasant odors.</span></li>\n<li><span>Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.</span></li>\n<li><span>Moves objects at least 75 pounds.</span></li>\n<li><span>Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.</span></li>\n</ul>",
