He or she locates automotive parts with light inventory and bin checks. This position will assist with shipping/receiving, handle returns and warranty scraps. In addition to fulfilling pick tickets, bin checks Work Schedule for this position will be as follows and is subject to change if necessary:\n<strong>Monday- Friday - 7:30 am to 4:30 pm</strong> The ideal candidate has at one years of experience with automotive parts and accessories, preferably in a dealership. He or she must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong customer service and organizational skills, phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Tekion software and Bilingual a PLUS! In addition to competitive pay, we offer our employees: \n<strong>Health, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, Health & Wellness Program, community involvement and company paid vacation and holidays.</strong>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Completes sales by entering purchased items into sales/inventory system, obtaining payment, adding purchase to credit account, and issuing sales receipts.</li>\n <li>Takes customer orders and clarifies requests, identifies automotive parts, and offers and explains alternative solutions.</li>\n <li>Assist with shipping and receiving.</li>\n <li>Light Parts inventory including bin checks.</li>\n <li>Work Rim return / Cores.</li>\n <li>Handles Warranty Scraps. </li>\n <li>Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures and complying with codes.</li>\n <li>Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading about new products.</li>\n <li>Cover for breaks & vacations.</li>\n <li>Operates a forklift.</li>\n <li>Fulfills Pick Tickets.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have 1+ Automotive parts counter and shipping and receiving.</li>\n <li>Excellent telephone and customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Inventory control experience.</li>\n <li>Must have a desire to work in a commission and performance-based environment</li>\n <li>Professional appearance and work ethic.</li>\n <li>Self-starter and self-motivator.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work well in a process driven environment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to develop relationships with vendors and customers.</li>\n <li>Forklift operator ( will be trained and certified). </li>\n <li>Must have computer skills.</li>\n <li>GM Catalog knowledge a PLUS!</li>\n <li>Tekion experience a PLUS!</li>\n <li>Bilingual a PLUS!</li>\n</ul>In addition to the qualifications listed above the physical requirements for this position are as follows: \n<ul>\n <li>Have the ability to lift at least 30 lbs on a regular basis.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to work on feet for 8 hour shift.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
