This individual will play a key role in improving data flow, reliability, scalability, and security across the organization’s technology ecosystem. The Systems / Database Manager will work closely with engineering, product, analytics, and operations teams to ensure that systems </span><span>operate</span><span> </span><span>efficiently,</span><span> and data is accessible, </span><span>accurate</span><span>, and secure.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Responsibilities</span></span><span> </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Administer, </span><span>maintain</span><span>, and </span><span>optimize</span><span> company databases to ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Monitor and improve system performance, uptime, and data flow across the organization’s technology infrastructure.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Design and </span><span>maintain</span><span> data pipelines, system integrations, and API connectivity between platforms.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Troubleshoot system communication issues, performance bottlenecks, and data synchronization problems.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with internal data governance policies.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Work with engineering teams to support new product features, integrations, and software releases.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Maintain documentation for system architecture, database schemas, and </span><span>integration</span><span> workflows.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Support data reporting and analytics infrastructure by ensuring </span><span>accurate</span><span> and efficient data availability.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to </span><span>identify</span><span> opportunities for automation and process improvement.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics to proactively </span><span>identify</span><span> issues and </span><span>optimization</span><span> opportunities.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Assist</span><span> in scaling infrastructure to support company growth and increased platform usage.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills</span></span><span> </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Bachelor’s degree </span><span>required</span><span> in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>7-10</span><span> years of experience in systems administration, database administration, or infrastructure management.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Must be an expert with NetSuite (NS)</span><span>, </span><span>Shopify</span><span> and integrations, like </span><span>Celigo</span><span> and/or </span><span>TrueCommerce</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Knowledge of API integrations, data pipelines, and system interoperability.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, and monitoring.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Familiarity with ETL processes, data synchronization, and data architecture.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Understanding of</span><span> system security, authentication protocols, and data protection practices.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Strong troubleshooting and analytical </span><span>problem</span><span>-solving</span><span> skills.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Excellent documentation and communication skills.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Physical Demands/Environmental Factors</span></span><span> </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>While performing the duties of this job, the employee </span><span>is regularly required to</span><span> sit;
