A DevOps Engineer automates the build, test and release<br>processes and ensures our Cloud Infrastructure is up and running reliably with high uptime.</p>\n<p><br>On the DevOps team, you will get a chance to experiment with different tools and technologies<br>and choose the ones suitable for our use cases. You will often be developing custom tools to<br>cater to our unique and specific needs. You will be interacting with different teams to identify<br>inefficiencies in tasks and processes and find ways to eliminate those.</p>\n<p><br>As a DevOps Team Leader, you will be interacting with various teams and internal stakeholders to<br>understand their requirements and design and implement processes and automation to fulfil<br>those requirements efficiently. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers and set up build and<br>release pipelines and also work on building environments on Azure with high availability. Often ,<br>you will find yourself writing scripts in PowerShell, Bash or Python.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT YOU WILL DO</span><br>• Addressing technical hiccups between software development and operations and finding effective solutions to keep projects on track.<br>• Regularly review infrastructure's health and security, making recommendations for improvements.<br>• Lead a team of talented DevOps and Azure engineers.<br>• Create and ensure that the infrastructure and products that promote and enforce high reliability and security for Azure resources.<br>• Build new/manage extensible and flexible CI/CD frameworks and enhance existing ones to support multiple concurrent development efforts across many projects in an Azure and Hybrid environment.<br>• Identify, evaluate, and implement tools and technologies to drive automation and optimization of version control, configuration management and CI/CD processes.<br>• Define and implement processes to track, update, and modify multiple dev/test environments, including the ability to create new ones quickly or remove unused ones<br>• Drive adoption of standardized SCM and CI/CD processes and identify, implement, and track key metrics for visibility.<br>• Recruit, develop, and retain talent to build the next gen DevOps team and ensure the staff has the skills and capabilities to meet development needs<br>• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, propose changes, and<br>gain alignment to drive continuous improvement and automation into the SCM and CI/CD<br>processes.<br>• Be the face of the DevOps team for internal and external stakeholders and provide required status updates regarding the various projects and initiatives requested<br>• Engage in on - call participation to assist the Azure service deployment pipeline.<br>• Prepare for and carry out extensive zero - downtime migrations.<br>• Prepare DR plans and ensure compliance</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT YOU WILL NEED</span><br>• 8+ years of experience in DevOps and at least 2 years as a DevOps Team Lead role.<br>• Experience with Azure CI/CD for .Net, NodeJS, Python, Terraform Scripts.<br>• Experience managing complex development, test, integration, and production environments with different versions, building new environments, and providing support for existing ones.<br>• Experience with tools like Docker and Kubernetes, which package software for easy setup and management.<br>• 5+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer preferably using Azure DevOps.<br>• Very good understanding of the Web and how web applications work and function in the modern environment. • • • Thorough knowledge of DNS, network routing, application gateways and load balancing<br>• Some development experience in .NET, Python and API development.<br>• Ability to write scripts in PowerShell or other scripting languages is a must.<br>• Good experience in using IIS, Azure App Services, Function Apps and Docker.
