Essential Functions: Build relationships with decision‑makers by prospecting, networking, and opening doors in targeted markets Generate and grow a healthy sales pipeline through strategic partnerships and active lead development Engage clients to uncover needs, identify growth opportunities, and close new business Create and present compelling, customized proposals that showcase JR & Co.’s full capabilities Partner with Estimators and internal teams to price work accurately and negotiate contract terms Provide light project oversight after the sale by staying connected from kickoff through completion to ensure a smooth client experience Represent JR & Co. professionally at client meetings, industry events, and networking functions Maintain accurate CRM records to track opportunities, proposals, and business development activity Required Skills and Abilities: Self‑driven and motivated, with a strong sense of ownership over generating new business Confident communicator: clear, persuasive, and professional in both written and verbal interactions Relationship‑builder who collaborates easily with clients and internal teams Business‑minded and strategic, always thinking about long‑term growth opportunities Organized and tech‑savvy, comfortable using CRM systems and modern productivity tools Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while juggling multiple priorities Safety‑minded, knowledgeable of OSHA standards, and committed to doing things the right way Aligned with JR & Co.’s values: Family Culture, humility, Extreme Ownership, and a growth mindset Education and Experience: 1-3 years B2C or B2B sales experience preferred, but not required Construction/roofing industry background preferred, but not required Canvassing sales experience preferred Prior storm restoration industry experience preferred Cold calling and acquisition experience preferred Training, Support, and Development Paid 4 Weeks of training including roofing industry, construction education, and sales training. Marketing materials and CRM access Assistance from fully equipped estimating, operations, and admin staff Ongoing, paid, professional development including new products, and sales training.
