Work today, get paid today!</li>\n <li>Monthly Celebrations and recognitions</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>The Med Tech is responsible for providing for the daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the residents under the supervision and direction of the Assisted Living Manager.</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conducting/supervising daily activities according to the activity schedule and encourage all residents to participate.</li>\n <li>Assisting residents with medication reminders and documenting the times;</li>\n <li>Assisting residents in and out of the shower when needed;</li>\n <li>Assisting with residents’ daily hygiene when needed (i.e., combing hair, buttoning clothes, etc.);</li>\n <li>Assisting residents with one arm lifts in and out of chairs when needed;</li>\n <li>Assisting residents to and while in the dining room;</li>\n <li>Assisting, setting up and serving meals;</li>\n <li>Cleaning dining area and transferring residents back to their rooms;</li>\n <li>Offering emotional support and actively listening to residents which will help them develop trust and achieve independence in daily living;Complying with safety requirements, infection control measures, and maintaining a clean work environment in accordance with facility policy.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Med Tech Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The ability to follow written and verbal instructions, function independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action;</li>\n <li>Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and personnel;</li>\n <li>The ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel;</li>\n <li>Judgment in prioritizing the performance of tasks, duties and responsibilities in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures;</li>\n <li>The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPPA;</li>\n <li>Patience, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and a willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity and physical level in which they are currently functioning;</li>\n <li>The ability to adhere to professional code of ethics;</li>\n <li>The ability to relate information concerning a resident’s condition to the appropriate staff members </li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>",
