The ideal candidate will have at least five to seven years of leadership experience working hands-on with complex coverage matters. The individual in this role will have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule from any state where we have an office.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"> &nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide legal analysis and advice to insurance carriers on a wide range of coverage issues.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Handle all aspects of insurance coverage litigation, including declaratory judgment actions and bad faith claims.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in strategic case planning and risk assessment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Draft coverage opinions, pleadings, written discovery, motions, and participate in arbitrations and trials.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to develop sound case strategies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate with clients, the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide regular and timely updates to clients on case status, strategy, and potential outcomes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work collaboratively with partners, associates, and legal staff.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage cases while adhering to billing and budget requirements.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work a hybrid schedule from our offices in either Bedminster, Long Island or Chicago.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5-7 or more years of experience in 3rd-party Insurance Coverage law.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">J.D. from an accredited law school.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be licensed to practice in any state where Weber Gallagher has an office.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven track record of success in courtroom appearances, depositions, and settlement negotiations.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">   &nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>This position offers a salary range of $180,000 &ndash; $200,000 and is based on a variety of factors including education, experience, and internal equity.&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Weber Gallagher is a thriving and growing firm with more than 160 legal professionals in 13 locations.
