These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>The Process Engineer responsible for developing and improving the manufacturing processes surrounding the production of Molded Fiber products and providing leadership for associates assigned to support quality and process monitoring.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The primary job duties and responsibilities are:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works with management, technicians and operators to continually improve manufacturing processes (Decrease cycle times/optimize production, maximize throughput rate, increase product quality, and minimize scrap) and troubleshooting processing problems.</li>\n <li>Creates and maintains accurate engineering/process documentation such as molding specifications, Process Flow diagrams, Process Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs), etc.</li>\n <li>Establishes set-up and processing parameters based on material, machine capabilities.</li>\n <li>Develops molding procedures to ensure consistent processing of product on all shifts.</li>\n <li>Monitors and reviews daily production efficiencies with Production Manager on machine/process to ensure consistent processing.</li>\n <li>Performs specified design of experiments and establish capability studies. </li>\n <li>Participates in documenting capital equipment justification.</li>\n <li>Oversees the lab & process technicians, testing results, procedures, and overall quality program.</li>\n <li>Monitors and coordinates responses to quality concerns from internal and external sources.</li>\n <li>Manages and coordinates the NSF audit and GMP standards for the plant.</li>\n <li>Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.</li>\n <li>Maintains excellent safety record.</li>\n <li>Maintains excellent attendance record.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Three or more (3+) years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities requiring control of a mechanical process and inspection of product to meet quality standards.</li>\n <li>Three or more (3+) years of experience managing and leading direct reports in a manufacturing environment or relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Must have Continuous Improvement experience</li>\n <li>SPC Gain Seeker experience</li>\n <li>Food Safety / GMP experience highly desired.</li>\n <li>Paper science or paper making experience highly desired.</li>\n <li>Must have management/supervisory experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>An individual must have the following skills in the Process Engineer position:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have analytical skills and proven leadership effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Experience and/or working knowledge of Solid Works and AutoCAD is a plus.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office products.</li>\n <li>PI systems experience (digital EOT systems)</li>\n <li>Proficient to expert knowledge in pulp and fiber process and tooling.</li>\n <li>Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Time management.</li>\n <li>Advance mathematical skills and numerical accuracy.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> BA/BS in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-TM1</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
